Chapter 512 Summary

A very short chapter. I really don`t have much to say here as what happens would basically take up 3 or 4 minute of “anime time”. The person who arrived last time was in fact Ichigo, and we have no idea how he got free. He first stops by Byakuya(almost dead) and tells him that Rukia and Renji are okay. Byakuya, swallowing his pride, tells Ichigo to protect Soul Society because he couldn`t. Then, Ichigo quickly goes to face Juha Bach and immediately arrives in front of him. I hope more happens next time!

The chapter begins with a flashback of a child Shunsui with a relatively young Yamamotto looking at a picture of a burning fire. We now know that this is Yamamoto in Bankai form, but he calls I a monster that appeared in soul society creating a larger mess when there was already one before.

We then switch to the present and see that Yamamoto has been cleanly cut in two as his top half falls to the ground. Shunsui screams out his name and senses his death, but the quincy he was fighting sees this as an opening and attacks. Back to Juha Bach, he calls Yamamoto pitiful for dying like this. He calls to his assistant HashVald, and tells him they are leaving...

The chapter starts with brief flashback about two twin brothers who were mixed up all of their lives, and then discovered they had the ability to replicate people’s powers and memories in each other. Yamamoto at this point sees Juha Bach apologizing apparently to himself, which catches him off guard.

All of a sudden the 1st division building behind him explodes, with Yamamoto yelling for his third seat, Okikiba. Suddenly, the real Juha Bach appears behind him. Reinforcing that there should be about 26 Stern Ritters, the one that Yamamoto killed was Y, the one called Yourself, who was one of the Copy Brothers. Even in such a death state with most of his body gone, he sees Juha Bach and is honored that he was able to help so much in the war...

Yama has released his Ashen Blade Bankai and it is visibly making the entire seireitei warmer and drier as everyone fighting around them noticed. Yamamoto’s reatu is so strong that it is actually visible in this state and takes the shape of fire.

Yamamoto then tells Juha Bach that if the battle does not end soon, both of them and the entire soul society will burn to nothing because of the extent of his unleashed power.

Juha does not fight at first, and Yama makes fun of him for this, saying that because his sword was destroyed at the beginning, he has no techniques to use. He says he will kill him now and they begin to fight. Juah fires an arrow but it has no effect on Yama.

After a long wait, the chapter finally begins with Kenpachi carrying the body of another Stern Ritter. He reveals that he killed three others. He goes over the battle against the three simply in one page, where he killed them with a fairly pathetic fight. In one lampshading scene, he revealed that he actually killed one of them while they were explaining their power to him. That never happens. XD

Anyway, the second in command of the Stern Ritters calls Kenpahi a monster, and true to form, he wastes no time in jumping right in and trying to hit him with his sword. He tries to block with his arm and there is a huge explosion.

Meanwhile, the story cuts to Ichigo, where he is STILL trapped in the sphere and we still don`t know who killed the guy that created it...

The chapter begins as Byakuya lays badly wounded before the Storm Ripper. As he stands over him, Renji jumps over, coming in for a sneak attack with his shikai. At the same time, Rukia follows the sense that she had about her brother and is now trying to run to help him, but the enemy she was facing does not let her go so easily.

Meanwhile, Renji tries to fight using his Shikai, but it is easily blocked. At the same time, Byakuya gets up slowly and tries to fight, but is then completely blown away by an energy attack from the storm ripper. Renji then become furious and is about to call out his bankai when suddenly a big and humourous Storm Ripper with a Luchador mask kicks him in the face far away, through several buildings.

We then cut back to Byakuya, and see his sword break into piece...

Argh! I can’t believe that they didn’t tell us who the mystery attacker was from last chapter who killed Kirge! Kubo is still leaving us in suspense about this, but the chapter itself is still really good.

I don’t know if what is going on at first is right after the last chapter, but the first few pages show that Ichigo is still trapped inside the energy sphere Kirge put him in. The story quickly goes back to soul society in Renji and Byakuya’s battle against the masked Storm Ripper. Byakuya has still had his Bankai stolen and has just been hurt.

In a funny moment in an otherwise scary chapter, Renji tries to fight, but BYakuya says that he does not have the necessary skill to fight him and that he must learn to fight him by watching Byakuya battle him enough for him to reveal his bes...

At the soul society communications center, there is a panic in that they can no longer sense Ichigo’s spirit energy. Meanwhile, back in Hueco Mundo, Ichigo is frustrated that he was trapped in an energy cage and swings his sword wildly trying to get out.

However, Kirge, the nazi-like Quincy, says it is futile. Back at Soul Society, Jindanbo the giant and others have turned against some people in the communications division and are killing them. They are likely, IMO being mind controlled by one of the storm rippers.

Within the energy cage, Ichigo delves further into a panic about not being able to hear the people crying out for his help, or be able to go and save them.

At the same Time, Kirge says he has to kill everyone who is there besides Ichigo, including Urahara, but to everyone’...

This continues from the last chapter, where Ichigo had received the Soul Society’s plea for help against the new Storm Rippers gang of Quincy, who have the power to steal Bankai (except Ichogo’s. Maybe it dosen`t work on Vizoreds?).

Urahara also arrives on the scene in Hueco Mundo after Ichigo just blew a hole in the Nazi-like Storm Ripper’s mutated Vollstandig body. He, as would except, wants to analyze the body of the enemy for clues.

While Ichigo is traveling to Soul Society, Urahara tells him of an important discovery in that Quincies can only use a great amount of power for Attack OR defense, never both at once, and it takes a second or two to switch between modes...
